A Bit More About Me

There’s a lot more to me than rope and kink. I’m a huge power metalhead, long-time participant in the goth subculture, giant nerd, Tolkien fan, D&D player, dog mom, and avid aerial yogi. Give me a good hike, loud music, or an excuse to disappear into a fantasy world and I’m pretty happy.

I also genuinely love self-suspension. There’s something about the combination of movement, rope, problem-solving, and getting to experiment that scratches my brain just right. I’m curious by nature, I like trying things, and I’m pretty much always learning something new.

My Life in BDSM

I’ve been part of the BDSM lifestyle for 25 years, and I definitely didn’t start out where I am now. I began as a bottom before discovering a couple of years later that I really, really liked being on the other side of things. These days I mostly identify as a Domme, although when it comes to rope, I’m absolutely a switch. Impact and everything else? Nope. I know what I like.

Bondage became a serious part of my life more than a decade ago, and I’ve been practicing suspension for seven years. Along the way, I’ve attended conventions, workshops, classes, and events both locally and elsewhere, and I still do. I don’t believe experience means you get to declare yourself finished learning.

I enjoy plenty of different parts of BDSM, but bondage has my heart. Shibari, suspension, and combining rope with sensory play are the things I keep coming back to, whether I’m tying, being tied, suspending someone else, or getting myself into something interesting.

Education & Coaching

Teaching has been part of my kink life for almost a decade. I’m a certified sex coach and certified kink coach, and I’ve taught classes ranging from Female Domination and feminization to bedroom bondage, beginner bondage, shibari, suspension, and self-suspension.

One thing that matters a lot to me is understanding bondage from more than one perspective. I’ve taught from both the Top and bottom sides of rope and suspension because what happens on each end matters. Technique is important, but so iis safety, communication, body awareness, negotiation, connection, and understanding the person you’re doing all this fun stuff with.

Over the years, I’ve taught with organizations and venues including Studio Friction, Endorphin Soup Kitchen, and Wicked Grounds, among others. And I’m still taking classes myself. There’s always another perspective to hear, another technique to explore, and another thing worth getting curious about. That’s a big part of what I bring to education and coaching: plenty of experience, without pretending there’s nothing left for me to learn.
